WHY YOU ARE STILL STUCK AT THE SAME HANDICAP
WHY YOU ARE STILL STUCK AT THE SAME HANDICAP
You head to the range, smash a bucket of balls, and feel like you are making progress. Then you get on the course and the scorecard tells a different story. It is frustrating, and frankly, a waste of your time.
The reason is simple: You are guessing.
You might think you need a more expensive driver, but you are actually bleeding shots from 100 metres out. You might think your putting is fine, but you are three-putting more than you realise. Without knowing your actual numbers, you are just spinning your wheels.
If you do not measure it, you cannot improve it. You are practicing the wrong things, which is why your handicap has not budged in months.
INTRODUCING THE PWG GOLF GAME SELF-ASSESSMENT SCORECARD
This is not a standard scorecard. It is a specialised diagnostic tool designed to separate your game into three distinct phases:
By tracking these specific segments, you stop looking at the total score as one big mystery and start seeing it as a series of manageable parts. It provides the clarity you need to stop hitting aimless balls and start training like a pro.
The brain doesn't learn when it's comfortable. It learns when it's forced to solve a new problem.
WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU STOP GUESSING:
A clear diagnosis of your game's biggest weaknesses.
Faster improvement by focusing only on what is broken.
Smarter practice sessions that actually translate to the course.
A better scoring strategy based on your actual skill level.
More confidence because you finally have a plan.
Less frustration and more enjoyment every time you tee off.
LOWER YOUR SCORES IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS

About Paul
For 15 years, I had a front-row seat to the most common frustration in golf. As a touring professional, I played in hundreds of Pro-Ams, standing side-by-side with thousands of amateur golfers. And I saw the same story play out, hole after hole, round after round.
A golfer would hit a great drive, then duff the next shot. You could almost see the storm cloud of frustration form over their head, following them for the next three holes and sabotaging their scorecard. It was very obvious to me that this blowout had nothing to do with a lack of "swing technique". It was something else.
During that time, large companies would also hire me to help their clients before a corporate golf day. They all wanted the same thing: "I just want to be more consistent?"
After seeing this pattern thousands of times, I had a huge ‘a-ha!’ moment. It became the foundation of my entire coaching philosophy and the reason my clients get the results they do.
That realisation was this:
"Your golf swing isn't even close to the biggest problem with your golf game!"
I’ve spent more than 25 years as a Certified PGA of Australia Professional, and I’ve seen countless golfers waste years trying to perfect a textbook swing, only to get more and more frustrated. They were trying to solve the wrong problem.
The secret to lower scores and more enjoyment isn't a "perfect" swing. It's learning how to play the game. It's about becoming your own best caddy on the course, making smarter decisions under pressure, and knowing how to manage your mind and emotions when things don't go to plan.
Golf is not a game of consistency, its about being a better problem solver!
This is why I am so passionate about what I do and created the Breaking Bad Golf Method and the Nine Shots Lower program. My mission is to stop you from focusing on the things that don't matter and give you the tools to manage your game with the skills you have right now.
I'm not here to just teach you "golf swing." I'm here to teach you how to play golf.
Let's get started.
